Delete Your Gigly Account

You can delete your Gigly account at any time. There are two ways.

In the App (Fastest)

Open Gigly, go to Settings, scroll to Delete Account, and confirm with your transaction PIN. Your account is deactivated immediately.

By Email

If you no longer have the app installed, email support@gigly.ng from the email address on your account, or include the phone number registered to it. We will verify your identity before deleting anything.

What Happens Next

• Your account is deactivated immediately. You are signed out on every device and your bank transfer account number stops working.
• Your data is permanently erased 60 days after you delete.
• During those 60 days your phone number cannot be used to open a new Gigly account.
• Deleted accounts cannot be restored.

What We Keep

• Anonymised transaction records, for accounting and fraud prevention. These are no longer linked to you.
• If you had money in your wallet when you deleted, we keep your phone number and the amount owed until we have paid you.

Your Wallet Balance

Deleting your account does not forfeit your balance. If you have funds remaining, our support team will contact you to arrange payment. No fee is deducted.
